Barbara Astman

Barbara Astman (b. 1950, Rochester, NY) is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (1970) and Ontario College of Art (1973). Her work has received national and international recognition. Since the 1970s she has explored a wide range of photographic and mixed media and her work is represented in many museum, corporate, and private collections in Canada, United States, and Europe. She lives in Toronto, where she is active in the arts community and is a professor in the Faculty of Art at the Ontario College of Art and Design.
