About Brian Cooley

Brian Cooley (b. 1956) is a Canadian sculptor specializing in life-sized reconstructions of dinosaurs. He is one of a small group of paleoartists who flesh out the skeletons uncovered by paleontologists in order to create life-like models. His works have appeared on three National Geographic magazine covers, he is the recipient of the John Lanzendorf PaleoArt Prize, and is recognized as one of the world’s top dinosaur sculptors. Cooley lives and works in Calgary.
