Inspired by motion, the sky, the site, and nearby waterways, laser-cut metal panels span Macleod Trail along the bridge while two towers mark the pedestrian path.
The artist was inspired by the viewer's perception of motion they experience at different speeds, whether on foot, a bicycle, or in a car, as they move through the site. Patterns of undulating lines are featured throughout and are reminiscent of the geometry of the roadways as well as the rippling currents in nearby Fish Creek and the Bow River. At night the work is illuminated with subtly shifting vibrant colours.
