This inverted replica of Mount PeeChee, a mountain peak located north of Canmore along the Bow River, is the inspiration for this sculpture which merges form and function.
A memorial to the glacial origins of the Bow and its connection to shaping our community over the years, this functional sculpture allows the viewer to watch as our stormwater transitions from the urban environment back to the natural. With the sculpture acting as a handrail, the bridge deck and surrounding Plaza areas allow the public to take a moment to observe, reflect and consider the impact we have on our environment.
