Realidoscope

Barbara Amos, Lynnette Jessop

Realidoscope captures people, architecture and the natural environment found along the river pathway.

About this work

Looking through the viewfinder the reflected surroundings are accented by the ever-changing motion of nature and people around this site. The artist believes the use of prisms lends itself to interactive situations and community involvement, and allows the viewer to engage in the act of transition and change. That we are living in a world which is continually being rearranged and reassembled, much like the way prisms rearrange our point of view in Realidoscope.
