About this work

Stylistically, their forms are simplified into broad masses, with the rear ends abruptly truncated to reveal the arches of their rounded bodies. Without textures or detail, it is the mother's gesture that signals her alertness. She turns around to confront you, the intruder. Oblivious, the cub continues to sniff the ground.
