The Colour of Snow
Conceptually and visually linked to the watercolour-like glass on the LRT station windows, the artwork in these railings is inspired by the artist's first visit to Calgary.
About the work
These 12 snowflake patterns emulate a snowstorm, drawing our attention to the unique forms that are built by nature, in an environment built by man. Pedestrians are able to enjoy the railings on a personal level, engaging with both the infrastructure and the shadows they cast as they walk by.
