They also reference the images dotted across the glass heating shelters on the station platform, continuing the playful dialogue the artists have featured throughout this site. References to the Blackfoot Nation have been included through the artist's use of circle motifs, an element commonly found in many Blackfoot creations. The Blackfoot are one of the oldest aboriginal nations to inhabit Calgary, and the artist's inclusion of this imagery acts as a way to continue their historical connection to this site and to the community of Calgary as a whole.
