About Christian Moeller

Born 1959 in Frankfurt, Germany, Christian Moeller studied architecture at the College of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 1990, he joined The Institute for New Media at the Städel Academy of Fine Arts in Frankfurt and subsequently founded his own artist studio.

He was a professor at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design until he moved to the United States in 2001. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Design | Media Arts at UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) and operates his studio in Elysian Valley, Los Angeles, California. His media installations and art works have been exhibited worldwide.
