Stuart Teekasingh is a self taught multidisciplinary artist from Calgary AB with over 15 years in practise. With a predominant practise specializing in large scale Japanese and ornamental tattooing, Stuarts art practise is an escape from rigid structure and Public art has become of particular importance as a means to add personal narrative to a source of collective consciousness. Often sourcing his inspiration from themes surrounding love, connection, neurodivergence, spirituality and cultural identity, Stuart aims to create work that serves as a personal journal, connecting with the observer through shared objective experience.
